Following the success of the 2016 event, the My Life in Data CDT held it’s Industry Day for 2017 on Wednesday 11 October at the University of Nottingham’s Innovation Park.

The annual event was again very well attended, with over 60 CDT stakeholders gathering in the Sir Colin Campbell Building to get an informative update on the Centre’s collaborative research activities. The CDT staff, students, supervisors, funders and industry partners benefited from an update from CDT Director Professor Steve Benford, PhD student presentations, a cross-cohort poster exhibition and also a chance to network with other attendees.
It also provided an opportunity for the CDT’s Advisory Board to meet in the afternoon to discuss the strategic direction of the Centre, as well as carrying out an evaluation of activities and outcomes so far.
The CDT would like to thank all that attended on the day, as well as CDT students who produced research posters for the day.
