We’re delighted to share that recent Horizon CDT graduate Yang Bong (2021 cohort) has published an invited perspective article, “The Two Sarawaks: Parallel Digital Economies and the Question of Rural Inclusion,” in the Borneo Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities (BJSSH).
Drawing on his doctoral research, Yang reflects on the opportunities and challenges of digital transformation in Sarawak, exploring how rural and indigenous communities experience the digital economy and highlighting the importance of inclusive, community-centred approaches to digital innovation.
Congratulations to Yang on this excellent publication!
