A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for the annual EPSRC Horizon Centre for Doctoral Training in Creating Our Lives in Data Industry Day on Tuesday, 10th October 2023 at the University of Nottingham’s Jubilee Conference Centre.

We had more than 90 participants and enjoyed a great day welcoming CDT students, alumni, academic supervisors and our industry partners.
The CDT Industry Day showcased the latest research, allowed alumni to share their pre and post-career experiences and gave our PhD students the opportunity to meet and network with the CDT industry partners.
Stakeholders were updated on the CDT’s ongoing achievement and outputs and students discovered different perspectives on their research and the potential impact to the digital economy.
The CDT Advisory Board meeting was held the following day giving CDT Board Members the opportunity to provide constructive feedback on the direction of the CDT.
We’re already looking forward to the next industry day!
