New destinations for most recent Horizon CDT alumni

Our most recent Horizon CDT graduates have secured new positions across the nation to start the next phase of their lives:


Abi Fowler is working as a senior Human Factors consultant at Pendyne Innovative Solutions.

Feng Zhou has secured the role of Researcher on the UKRI TAS Hub project: Embodied trust in TAS: robots, dance, different bodies and HorizonDER Trusted data-driven products project.

Harriet Cameron is leading the empirical research on HorizonDER project FAILSAFE that is using a dishwasher robot to investigate what ‘failure’ means to different people.

J.Gustavo Berumen has accepted the role of user experience researcher at Ocado Technology.

James Burnett is currently a freelance game/app developer.

Jimiama Mafeni Mase is a data scientist engineer in the Digital Research Service at the University of Nottingham working on a project that explores multiple biomaterial datasets to design bio-instructive materials for translation-ready medical devices.

Laurence Cliffe is now a Research Associate at the University of Nottingham’s School of Computer Science, working as a Creative Developer and Researcher on the LEADD:NG project.

Neeshé Khan is currently a Research Fellow in the School of Computer Science at the University of Nottingham working on a project in cybersecurity education as well as working on a start-up venture.

Serena Midha is diligently working on a start-up project in the field of neurotechnology.

Symeon Dionysis has begun working as a behavioural science consultant at Caja, a consultancy specialising in business transformation.
