CDT student Keerthy Kusumam passes viva

We are happy to announce that Horizon CDT student Keerthy Kusumam has successfully passed their PhD viva subject to minor corrections.

Supervised by Michel Valstar and Elvira Perez Vallejos, Keerthy’s thesis is entitled Multimodal Analysis of Depression in Unconstrained Environments.

Keerthy has accepted the role of Computer Vision Engineer at AstraZeneca in Cambridge, UK working across several computer vision use-cases including real-time, scalable and on-edge vision applications in pharmaceutical manufacturing lines, automatic biomarker identification from clinical trial videos and applying foundation models in bio-medical imaging.
