CDT student to present at DIS 2023

Fourth-year Horizon CDT PhD candidate Rebecca Gibson is attending the DIS 2023 this week to present two papers based on her PhD research which explore elements of repurposing our growing digital archives to form nostalgic hybrid gifts.

The ACM SIGCHI Conference on Designing Interactive Systems (DIS) is the top worldwide forum where designers, artists, psychologists, user experience researchers, systems engineers, and many others come together to discuss and influence the direction of interactive systems design and practise.

Resilience is the theme of DIS 2023, which is being held at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA:

“Everything is chaos and always becoming, The only thing that we know is that it will always change.”
