CDT alum secures two new roles

Congratulations to CDT alum Siyang Song on securing two new positions.

Siyang completed his PhD in 2021 after joining Horizon CDT’s 8th cohort. His PhD research focused on facial expression dynamics analysis to predict personalities and analyse depression.

After graduation, Siyang secured a post-doctoral position under Dr Hatice Gunes in the Rainbow Research Group and Affective Intelligence and Robotics Lab at the University of Cambridge. Siyang has recently been assigned a visiting researcher position at the Department of Computer Science and Technology, University of Cambridge and has received a Lectureship offer at the School of Computing and Mathematical Sciences, University of Leicester.

Siyang’s research interests include automatic emotion, personality and depression analysis using various Computer Vision techniques.
