Callum presents VR film at the River Film Festival in Naples

Fourth-year CDT PhD candidate Callum Berger is currently researching how to personalise virtual reality horror experiences by using physiological data.

Callum recently returned from Naples, where he attended the River Film Festival at Castelgrande to present A Place for Everyone: A Virtual Climate Reality, an adaptive VR experience created with AlbinoMosquito.

A Place for Everyone is more than just a VR film; it’s an interactive glimpse into a possible future where climate, survival, and morality collide. The experience goes beyond traditional storytelling, using volumetric capture and real-time brain data to adapt the VR experience, making it unique for each viewer.

This immersive experience allows viewers to reflect on the fragility of our future.
