We’re thrilled to announce that Ramneek Kaur Rai, a first-year PhD student at Horizon CDT, was invited to give a TEDx talk centred on the theme ‘Rock the Boat,’ focusing on her PhD research.
In her talk at the TedxUoN 2024 Conference, which took place on March 20, 2024 at the University Park Campus, Ramneek explored the intersection of gender and race within the realm of entrepreneurship and investment.
Ramneek also highlighted the underinvestment in female entrepreneurs and discussed how technology could help bridge this gap and challenge stereotypes.
The TEDx conference provided a fantastic platform for sharing innovative ideas, engaging stories, and visionary insights, as well as for networking with influential speakers.
