Horizon CDT student Ahmed Al-Talabany (2016 cohort) has been researching the use of personal data to configure navigation support of blind and partially sighted people.
During last week’s Royal Institute of Navigation’s webinar: Get to know our Younger Members’ Group: Stories from 5 friendly faces, Ahmed talked about the findings of one of his studies – the route choices of blind and partially sighted people in outdoor journeys. His presentation also included how Covid affected his PhD research as well as his progress.
The recording of the event can be found on the RIN YouTube page.
