Many congratulations to Panos Koutsouras who passed his Viva on the 31st of January – our first student from the 2013 cohort to do so!
Panos’s PhD ‘Crafting Content: The Discovery of Minecraft’s Invisible Digital Economy’ investigated the digital economies that emerge from video game contexts, focusing specifically on how Minecraft has become a lucrative business environment for many professional game creators, who use it as a tool to both create and sell content to various companies and organisations.
43 Horizon CDT students have successfully passed their PhD vivas to date.
