Celebrating Rosa Lavelle-Hill’s Appointment as Professor of Digital Humanities and AI

We are delighted to share the exciting news that our CDT alum, Rosa Lavelle-Hill, has been appointed as Professor of Digital Humanities and AI at the University of Basel. Rosa will officially take up her new role at the Digital Humanities Lab and the Department of Social Sciences on 1st February 2025.

Rosa received her PhD in Big Data Psychology in 2020 and has since built an impressive career at the intersection of social science, data science and AI. Her research focuses on developing ethical AI and using predictive models to address societal challenges, including human behaviour, sustainable development and modern slavery prevention.
