First year CDT student Saria Digregorio and third-year student Yang Bong presented their research work at The Future Food Symposium 2024 (FFS2024), a two-day event where academics, practitioners and citizens come together to talk about and explore the future of food.
Saria presented Visible Food Systems which looks at how digital tools and design can show the environmental and social impacts of local food systems. The goal being to make stories about food justice clearer and more noticeable to everyone.
Yang explored how machine learning techniques might predict the growth of food sharing networks.
Great work both!
