‘Before we Disappear’ is an interactive film that analyses the audience’s mood using face recognition technology and modifies the story to reflect what they respond to. The film premiered at Broadway Cinema in Nottingham on 24 February.
‘Before we Disappear’ has been created by Dr Richard Ramchurn who is an alumnus of the Horizon CDT and currently Director of Albino Mosquito Productions and researcher at the University of Nottingham’s School of Computer Science. This is the second movie Richard has made that explores brain-controlled cinema and expands on his award-winning work.
