Kadja Manninen has been involved with the research project Digital Access to Arts and Culture, the first major UK research project focusing on exploring the accessibility and inclusion implications stemming from the rapid expansion of online arts and culture during the pandemic.
In partnership with Arts Council England and Kadja’s industry partner The Space, the project has collected information on how arts and culture organisations have provided digital and hybrid live/digital content during the pandemic. Its goal is to improve the sector’s comprehension of digital access and how it can be achieved.
Kadja has co-authored the final report that summarises the 18-month research project examining the impact of digital arts and culture in the UK throughout the pandemic, with a specific focus on its implications for accessibility.
