Congratulations to Siyang Song who passed his viva this week subject to minor corrections. Siyang is the second student from the 2016 cohort to successfully defend their thesis.
Supervised by Professor Michel Valstar and Professor Alan Johnston, Siyang’s thesis is entitled ‘Modelling Person-specific and Multi-scale Facial Dynamics for Automatic Personality and Depression Analysis’.
Siyang has secured a post-doctoral position under Dr. Hatice Gunes in the Rainbow Research Group and Affective Intelligence and Robotics Lab at the University of Cambridge.
